I lied..

Wednesday, 4 January 2017

Hi all! So if you've read Chloe M's last post you'll know that we kinda disowned our blog a bit, and when I say disowned, I haven't posted since June last year... which now I'm typing that I feel gutted I haven't kept up with it! I guess everything got a bit hectic, I spent the whole summer working 6 days a week, and then it was the sudden preparation in sorting myself out for University, then that whole transition of moving in and settling in, and then the studies to follow! And the partying...

I miss the blog... like I miss Casey's vlog

Monday, 2 January 2017

I miss the blog, it's been a while; we've kind of disowned the blog...
we've been busy, me with work and my second year of uni and Chloe W started her first year last September...

2016 as a whole has been interesting year I call it my year of finding myself; sounds so cliche but I have found out so so much about myself in the last couple of months of that year.. I really have. It's been an adventure to say the least I've visited Beth one heck of a lot, I've been to see Jazz in Birmingham twice it's just been really fun and I've accepted my offer for Plymouth University studying TV Arts for my third year and I am so excited!!

Growing up as an only child...

Wednesday, 8 June 2016

Being an only child isn't as fabulous as everybody thinks it's cracked up to be!

1. Being impatient

I mean everyone can be impatient but being an only child being impatient is taken to a WHOLE new level. I mean in my world as an only child the limelight is kind of always on you and everything kind of revolves around you whether you like it or not.

2. Everybody just knows your that 'only child'

I don't know how but everybody knows when you're an only child, it's not as if I go out of my way to tell people I'm an only child. Phrases I hear are 'You're such an only child' or 'You're spoilt' - I remember the days back in school I was called spoilt when I actually really wasn't.

3. You can be pretty socially awkward

When I was younger playing with Bratz or Polly Pockets was something I had to do alone, I never had someone to play with these toys with me. I still find meeting new people really hard and I'm either really shy, awkward or loud in these situations when it comes down to it. (no matter how sarcastic and rude my friends actually think I am, I do get very shy).

Overcoming being negative CM

Monday, 6 June 2016

Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will

Negative thinking for me has always been my port of call, anything that happens in my life is always haunted by the negatives, those 'what if' scenarios - I always think of the bad parts never those that are good for my friends they have to deal with my negativity on a daily basis as I'm always thinking about what could of happened and what happened. In these cases what happened is usually good but I always try to replace this with negativity.

Long time no post! I've recently been finishing off my course in college and juggling two jobs, not too strenuous at the moment but I'll be working 6 days a week in the Summer and it's been taking a lot of getting used to! *Thinking of the money, thinking of the money*..

update: finishing 1st year | life | ideas for 3rd year - CM

Wednesday, 18 May 2016

As you already probably know I've been studying HND Media Moving Image for the past 9 months and the first year has finally come to an end, I've got all my work to hand in this week and I'm out of there until September when i start my second year (which is more difficult - fabulous) it's been a tedious few months but I've finished everything a week earlier than hand in so that's always great. I finished my semester 1 with good marks so hopefully I finish semester 2 with good marks - hoping for a merit or distinction - that will make me happy!

My favourite part of the project has got be being able to film a reconstruction of BBC Three's Thirteen which was very fun to recreate and also BBC Three tweeted there response to my reconstruction which I'm very happy about, meaning they hopefully watched it.
 (here is my reconstruction below)

I've finally decided that I want to go away for my third year and leave Cornwall which for me is an exciting idea! As Chloe W has now decided to go away that is also exciting so I can visit her in her first year this coming September too.

I'm 18! What did I get for my birthday? - Chloe W♡

Monday, 25 April 2016

As you may know if you follow our twitter, it was my birthday on the 13th and for the last two weeks I seem to have just been so busy! Unfortunately that business wasn't even spent working towards my college coursework, instead I've been spending time with family, going out with friends, sorting out my university accommodation and all that malarkey!

Maybelline Super Stay 24 Foundation & Concealer - First impressions/Review! - Chloe W♡

Wednesday, 6 April 2016

Two posts in the same afternoon? Crazy! But I thought I'd do a quick first impressions/review on the Maybelline Super Stay 24 hour Foundation and Concealer, I brought these a few days ago and saw it had a new formula and as I needed a new foundation, I grabbed it with somewhat high expectations as I use this brand a lot!
