My weekend - update! Getting a new camera and more...Chloe W ♡

Monday, 1 February 2016

Helloooo, hope you're all doing well! Didn't want to post until I had brought my new camera this weekend - The Canon 5D Mark III! If you're following me on Twitter you'll know this is a camera I have been longing for a very very long time, and that I was lucky enough to buy it this weekend as an 18th Birthday present (My birthday's actually in April), from money that my grandparents have been putting away for me since I was a bubba. As Photography is something I'm aspiring to use as a career, this is the only thing I wanted to use the money on, and I feel so so blessed for it! I was lucky enough to get it early also as I am shooting for a wedding soon and I am going into my last project at college. Not going to University also means that I'll be able to step out 'into the world' and shoot for clients with this little beauty.

Getting the camera from Penzance, my Family and my Boyfriend spent the day there, then going to Perranporth to go give my camera 'a run'. Also included the consuming of pasties. - PLEASE excuse my horrible hair line in these photos, it was very very windy, also damn to the odd bald patches.

Day two of the weekend was pretty uneventful, it was a very lazy Sunday in which I just played around with my camera, took ages getting ready for places I wasn't going and so on! (Bad habit of mine- getting over the top ready even though I'm not planning on going anywhere?)

Day three! Because Mondays are also fun days for me as it's my 'study' day at college, take note on the word 'study' definitely not being what's going to happen. Me and my Mum decided to visit a little duck pond, then a small village and some woods. Having a cute scrummy lunch from a tiny bakery in Lostwithiel. Broccoli and Cheese flan and the best fridge cake ever!

I'm excited to do more posts with this camera in the future, obviously I'm not a pro yet and shamefully used it mostly on 'auto' shoot mode, manual focus though!;) So hopefully by my next post I'll be an expert, hahah!

Hope you're all having an luuuurvely Monday full of positive vibes!! Thankyou for reading, let me know what you got up to this weekend!
